Bangladesh Brand Forum organized the event Digital Marketing Summit 2014 on September 20th, 2014 where the bridge between corporate firms and online marketing through social media was highlighted. WebAble Digital was the social media partner of the event. Manan Mehta, the head of Razorfish India, spoke of the importance of social media through his presentation and advised the business owners of Bangladesh to focus more on Facebook, as it is the most active platform in the country.

The co-founder of Newscred, Iraj Islam, encouraged the participants to spend more time on content marketing than just brand advertising. A keynote paper surmising the key elements required to create a successful digital presence was presented by Michael Leander, the founder, and chairman of Markedu. He gave examples of cases that did not work and those that went viral and stated that inbound marketing is a great source for everyone in the digital marketing business. Bangladesh Brand Forum, a new platform dedicated to businesses was launched in the event by Shairful Islam, Founder, and Editor of BBF, along with Shadab Mahbub, co-founder, and CIO of WebAble. Three-panel discussions were held in the event where several successful cases and the strategic actions behind them were discussed and brought to light.
